GTA Lockman Mobile Locksmith Services opens cars, SUVs, trucks and vans for owners who have locked their keys inside, across Toronto and the GTA. We come to where the vehicle is parked, whether that is your driveway, a workplace lot or a plaza.
Before opening a vehicle we confirm that you own it or have the owner's permission. Have your identification ready, and if the ownership papers are inside the vehicle, the technician explains how that is checked once the door is open. See proof of authorization.
Most vehicles can be opened without damage using tools made for the purpose. The method depends on the make, the model year and the security system. Newer vehicles with advanced alarms or shielded door frames can take longer, and the technician tells you what to expect before starting.
Do not try a coat hanger or a slim tool from the internet on a modern car. Door panels hold airbag wiring, window regulators and locking rods that are easy to damage.
If the keys are lost or broken rather than locked inside, opening the door does not solve the problem. In that case a new key needs to be cut and programmed. See car key replacement and car key types explained.

We also open trunks where the key is locked inside, and help with motorcycle locks and ignition problems. For larger vehicles such as trucks, RVs and motorhomes, call and describe the vehicle so we can confirm.
Police generally do not unlock cars unless there is a safety emergency, such as a child or pet locked inside on a hot day. In that case call 911 first. For an ordinary lockout, a locksmith is the right call.
If a child or a pet is locked inside, call 911 first.
Keep a spare key somewhere you can reach it, such as at home or with a family member, not hidden on the car. If your vehicle uses a fob, replace the battery when the range starts to drop, before it fails. If you are down to one key, a spare costs far less than replacing a lost key. See spare keys and duplication.
Call (647) 955-3277 or use the contact form and tell us the address and the vehicle and where it is parked. We confirm the price and give you an arrival estimate before booking, and the technician explains the work on site before starting.
