How we make a key with no spare
Most motorcycles use the same key for the ignition, the steering lock, the seat and the fuel cap. When no key is left, we get the cut from the bike itself: from the key code when the owner has it, or by reading one of the locks on the bike. Then we cut a new key and test it in every lock.
Many newer bikes also have a chip in the key, and the engine will not start until the chip is paired with the bike. Tell us the make, model and year when you call, and we will confirm before we book whether we can make and program a key for your bike.
